ADK AM and ADK Afternoon runs are available Mon.-Fri. and Sundays. There is no ADK on Saturdays.
We are currently experiencing a shortage in staffing which may affect runs. Please contact Dispatch to confirm if a run has been affected.
MESSAGE TO RIDERS:
Transportation Dispatch is open 6 AM to 4 PM for scheduling. Last phone call is taken at 3:45 PM daily.
It is closed Saturdays and Sundays.
Please call Dispatch at 518-483-9000 for the most up to date information to make sure a run is active. Currently the Adirondack Evening and Tupper Demand routes are closed.
All riders must wear a mask. NO EXCEPTIONS.
"Come Ride With Us"Franklin County Public Transportation provides service to Northern and Southern Franklin County and parts of Lake Placid for your shopping, medical, employment, educational, and miscellaneous needs. We are sponsored by the County of Franklin, Division of Public Transportation and New York State Department of Transportation.
In the Northern part of Franklin County, bus service is provided within and between Chateaugay, Burke, Fort Covington, St. Regis Falls, Malone and surrounding communities. Service operates from 6 a.m. until 5:30 p.m., Monday through Friday. Saturday service operates from 8:30 a.m until 5 p.m. Shuttle service within the Malone community is available Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. through 5:30 p.m. There is NO service for the Northern routes on Sunday. All demand service and deviated pick-ups must be coordinated 24 hours in advance. Please see the individual schedules in the "Documents" section for exact operational hours.

In the Southern part of Franklin County, bus service is provided within Saranac Lake, Tupper Lake and into Lake Placid, located in Essex County, seven days a week. Demand service in Saranac Lake and Tupper Lake is only available Monday through Friday, 5:10 a.m. to 6:10 p.m. All demand service and deviated pick-ups must be coordinated 24 hours in advance. Please see the individual schedules in the "Documents" section for exact operational hours.

The Adirondack Route connects Northern and Southern Franklin County and provides valuable transportation into Lake Placid, located in Essex County. This service operates 7 days a week and makes 3 round trips per day between the northern and southern portions of the county.
